Fan Speak: GEET bonded me with people of all ages: Mano Padmanaban!

I started watching Geet at first to see my favorite actor Gurmeet Choudhary. I had no clue about the story or what a sensation it would turn out to be among the masses! Then the story of a young girl fighting against her family to become independent and stand up for her rights attracted me to the show.

From the first day itself, Geet became a part of my life, as I watched it fervently and had discussions on a daily basis with other viewers. The story was gripping and the emotions ran high as we wanted Geet to fight the demons and succeed in life and stand on her own two feet. When Maan entered her life, we, the viewers knew that this story would go down in history as one of the most loved shows of all time! People from all walks of life, various religions, and different ages from all over the world fell in love with Geet and Maan. We cried with them, celebrated with them, were angry at them, and through all of it we fell in love with the characters as well as the actors.

For me personally, GEET show has bonded me with people of all ages from around the world and I have formed life long friendships. Even though the show will end, my friendships will never end. I am eternally grateful to the CVs, the cast and crew for bringing us this fabulous story with such strong characters and for making such an indelible impression in our minds.
One of my favorite scenes among many is the Maan and Geet confrontation in the “Green Room.” Maan gets angry on seeing Geet’s desi decoration for a KC launch party. He is hopping mad but when he enters the famous green room and sees Geet in all her beautiful glory in the red dress, he is speechless and he stops standstill admiring her. :DAll his anger goes out of the window for a moment. Geet acts shy as he stares at her wantonly. This scene showed so many emotions from both of them: from Maan – passion, angry at himself, regret, and angry with Geet for evoking feelings in him. Geet knows what the basis of his anger is and points it out directly to Maan. Maan denies it, but almost spills the beans that she has driven him crazy with passion since the day he met her! The fighting of wills between the two of them and the sparks flying was fabulous to see! GC and DD were simply superb in carrying out the emotions ~ Mano Padmanaban!

Mano Padmanaban is yet another old member of Geet Forum and needs no introduction, and on behalf of Rangmunch.TV, we would like to thank Mano for sharing this wonderful journey with us.

Fan Speak: It still feels magical and gives me butterflies to this day. Amna Khan!

All the Old members of the Geet facebook page who had joined at the very beginning would remember Amna Khan very fondly. She was one of those few members who won over hearts with her witty sense of humour and sensitivity. She was as popular as the administrator of the page. Her posts would instantly draw crowd and in numerous comments would pour in no time.

Today even though Amna is no longer an active member on the Geet page and the newbies may not know her, but she still reminences her days on the Geet forum and agreed to share her experience on Rangmunch.TV.

“I’d had a few upsets in early 2010, had lost myself and was going through depression when in May I came upon Geet. I was completely hooked in a few seconds of watching it and have never been so crazy about a show like I was for Geet. The old Geet fans know my level of “crazy” for the show LOL. This simple TV drama actually got me out of my slump and made me happy… happiness truly does come from simple pleasures. I made new friends online on the GEET facebook page that are still with me, I started dressing up again and taking better care of myself; going out more with family and friends; even had the guts to finally start dating again after almost a decade. Sure, I may not have solved all my problems or gotten lucky in love but the happiness and exuberance I felt while watching the show actually lives on today, in that I do not need the show anymore because I found myself again! I also feel that rather than looking for love I should just keep on living life to the fullest and enjoying myself until one day, while running around living fabulously, I’ll collide with “the man” that is even beyond my wildest dreams, or should I say the Maan! (Pun intended)”
My favorite scene will always be when they first introduced Maan’s character. When he saves Geet by pulling her out of the water, that moment where he tells her to shut up was marvelous and so cute too. Time stood still as they stared at each other, I could see a mixture of emotions from confusion to intrigue to bewilderment and obviously electric attraction! It still feels magical and gives me butterflies to this day.

Fan Speak: "Behne De" was my most favourite scene : Sara Maaneet!

When Swati asked me to write about my journey with Geet and what it has meant to me, the only thing I could think about were the people that I met. Long forgotten is the craze I once felt for each and every episode, the constant repeat viewing of every moment and the restless anticipation for the next 17.00 G.M.T to roll around. These things did not come to mind till a long time later.

Instead, I remembered all the endless hours of laughter, crying with it; so much abundance of laughter that even now when I think back on it I involuntarily smile. I don’t just recall the maaneet moments or the Devil directed gaaliyans or even the baby fiasco, but instead I instantly think of all the beautiful, kind, sincere, loving women I have met, who have become my friends, my sisters.

Ladies that I believe God himself sent in to my life, who have been my anchor, my motivation and who have given their love and affection freely and unreservedly. For me this journey was indeed one of love. Not just the one shared on screen, but between soul sisters across the globe, in all corners of the world, from all walks of life. With all our differences, we still found one commonality of mutual respect and affection and it would not have been possible without what is only just a serial but I will always treasure it for this fact alone that it has brought me my wonderful ladies.

Behne de was my most favourite scene till date. It captured the essence of Maan and Geet as individuals and maaneet as a couple. That entire sequence captured what we love best about Geet – her spontaneity, her love for life, her sorrow and yet she lived. That moment captured Maan’s struggle with himself, his defeat to his own feelings, a man in conflict and that was the moment when Maan and Geet for me became Maaneet. It was from there that I got my name from :o) … behne de.

We would like to thank Sara for sharing her experience with Rangmunch.TV!!

Barry Tussi Great Ho…Tohfa Kabool Karo!!! Part 1

“Kitne aadmi the” ….Whenever you hear this line what is the first thing that comes to your mind? I have always associated the character Gabbar Singh with this line. SHOLAY and each of its characters would not have gone down in the History of Indian Cinema as the most successful film of all times without those impactful dialogues.

I had also viewed silent movies like “Pushpak” which was brilliantly made. But there were instances when as a viewer; I wished there were some conversations that were exchanged between the lead pair. It was then that I realized the role of a “Dialogue Writer.”
We all love Geet Hui Sabse Parayi for various reasons, such as the concept of the story, the execution, the character sketches, the background score, and above all, the chemistry shared by the on-screen lead pair, Gurmeet Chowdhary and Drashti Dhami as Maan and Geet.
However, the Love Saga of Maan and Geet would be incomplete without the mention of Barry Dhillon – a name that has been associated with the show right from its inception to date. Barry’s dialogues act as a catalyst for us to fall even more in love with the characters, giving their relationship a new depth unseen so far across shows in various channels. The dialogues breathe life into each character of Geet and make them look real and relatable to every girl, every woman watching the show. We laugh, cry, dream, hope, and LIVE every moment with “Maaneet” as he gives words to their thoughts.

Episode 12: Maan ‘s first words to Geet

Chup…Bilkul Chup!!”  These three words said it all and the character of Maan Singh Khurana became a Phenomenon over night and took the nation by a storm. Maan, a man of few words, not only swept Geet off her feet, but also took millions of Girls/Women across the world along with the wave. The title of a “Knight in Shining Armour” seemed just apt for him.

Episode 28: Geet’s self talk

“Itna Galat. Itni galtiyo se meri zindagi kaise ghir gayi. Isliye kyunki mein shayad humesha logo ki sunti rahi. Par ab nahi. Ab mein wohi karungi jo mujhe sahi lagta hai. Pechli har galti ko mein apni zindagi se nikaal kar rahoongi.”

These lines established Geet Handa as an epitome of strength and courage. Her ‘never to say die’ attitude inspired millions of Women in the real world to stand up for themselves.

Episode 32: Inke nafrat mein bhi kitni kaashish thi. Oh!!! How much we loved this high voltage scene between Maan and Geet.

Maan: “Tumhare Bhai ko pata hai tum is waqt kaha ho aur kya kar rahi ho. Usi ne bheja hoga… kyunki woh toh mujhe shaadi ke liye mana nahi saka, toh tumhe bhej diya, taki tum ek raat bitake shaadi ke saude ke liye mujhe mana sako.”

Geet: “Aap bilkul sahi keh rahe the, kamzor par haath uthana galat hai. Aap mein bhale hi taqat mujhse zyada hogi par dimaag mujhse kamzor aur aapki soch ussey bhi choti.”

Barry Dhillon is the Man, who has been associated with the show from inception and has carved a niche for himself. His dialogues create those heartwarming and mesmerizing Maaneet moments, which we will cherish for life.

While the Screenplay gives LIFE to a Show, the Dialogues become its SOUL.
Rangmunch.TV would like to bring to you the Best Dialogues from Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, as a token of appreciation for our very dear Barry Paaji.
So get ready to re-live the ‘Best of the Best’ moments of Geet with Rangmunch.TV.

Enemy Lurking in the corner: Geet Hui Sabse Parayi

It seems like tough times are never to end in Maan and Geet’s life on StarOne’s Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi what with evil Vikram having shot Maan landing him in a hospital. So obsessive is Vikram’s love for Geet that he has held her captive , from where he thinks she will never be able to escape. However, knowing of Maan’s state, Geet leaves no stone unturned to get to him as soon as she can. She manages to break open the glass window of the room where she has been trapped, in order to get to the love of her life, her husband Maan.

The scene was shot in less than two takes in about 10 minutes, and it did require some real stunts like breaking a real glass. The through professional that Drashti Dhami is, she continued to give her shot despite having cut her hand while enacting the scene. The entire unit cheered and clapped for her applauding her courage and professional behavior.

The scene was shot by Director Shashank.

In the upcoming episodes, Geet will be shown trying to escape from Vikram’s clutches as she tries to reach Maan. Vikram who is totally besotted with Geet learns of her having escaped and goes following her, after having struck Lucky who also happens to reach the venue.

Will Geet be able to reach Maan on time or will Vikram get the better of her yet again? Well, you will have to watch the episodes forward to find out!

While you wait on, we leave you with a video and a few pictures that you could make do with until the episode finally airs.

Fida’s Corner: His Wife, Mrs. Khurana!!! (Chapter 25 & 26)

CHAPTER 25

Geet woke bright and early the next morning, finding herself still held close to his strong body.  After a moment, she realised that he was already awake, and looked up to find that he was looking down at her.  The ever-present heat between them flared as their eyes met, then his lips came down to meet hers.  Her body was plastered along the length of his, leaving her in no doubt of his need for her, but before need could overcome them; there was a knock at their door.

“Geet, bete kya hum ander aajayein”  “Geet my child, can I come in?” they heard Dadi say, her voice more effective than a bucket of cold water in dousing the flames that had just started burning.
They leapt apart, Geet diving into the bathroom as he went to open the door.  By the time she came out, Dadi was sitting with her husband, deep in conversation.
“Aaiyye Geet, mere paas baithiye.  Mere khayal se hum donon ke liye aap ne kaafi kaam sar le liya hai.”  “Come Geet, come and sit next to me.  I think you’ve planned a lot of work for us.”
As she sat next to her grand-mother-in-law, Geet smiled. “Ji, Dadi, humein kaafi kuch karna hai.  Magar Priya ke aane se pehle sab hojayega.  Nakul to kabhi mujhe jaadoogar lagta hai, wo sab itni acchi tarha karwata hai”  “Yes Dadi, we’ve got quite a lot to do.  But it should all get done before Priya arrives.  Sometimes I think Nakul is a magician, he gets everything done so well.”
So what do you want to do to that suite Geet?”
She thought about what had awaited her when she arrived in the Khurana Mansion as a bride and smiled “Dadi, I think Priya will just be happy to be here, but I want her to have somewhere she can be comfortable, somewhere she feels is her own space in this house.  She’ll need somewhere her daughter can feel at home, somewhere that she can retreat to until they feel comfortable with us.  After all, Anjali hasn’t even met us and now she’ll be living with us; it’s going to be hard for her to adjust.”

Savitri smiled at the at Geet’s speech then rose “Well my dear, with so much to do, we had better get started.”
As Savitri linked her arm with Geet’s and started to walk out of the room, Geet turned back to look at the man watching her with hungry eyes.  The strength of the need that she could see hit her like a punch in the gut, leaving her momentarily breathless; she almost turned back, drawn towards him like a moth to a flame.  It was only the feel of Dadi’s hand on her arm that stopped her; he smiled ruefully as she walked away then turned to look out of the window to give himself some time to recover.

Savitri had arranged the wedding for Saturday afternoon, meaning that they had less than twelve days to prepare the suite for Priya and Dev to move into.    Geet and Dadi worked hard, supervising the workmen, buying new furnishings, accessories, buying everything a woman would need when she came to a new home.  Every evening Geet would come to their room and regale him with the stories of what she had done; he would listen and watch her as she gestured and smiled and laughed.   Every moment he spent with her only made him love her more.

Five days after the renovations had started, he walked into the suite to see what his wife was up to; he found her standing at the top of a ladder, wrapping some fairy-lights around a curtain rail in the little girl’s room.  As she heard him walk in, she turned; the movement destabilized the rickety ladder and she let out a shriek as she fell.  Shouting her name, he rushed forward, thanking his lucky stars as he reached her in time to catch her, her warm weight settling into his arms as if she was meant to be there.

“GEET”
With adrenaline still coursing through him, terror turned to anger at the thought of what could have happened.
“GEET, bas bahut ho chuka.  Tum hargiz hargiz ab oopar nahin chadhogi.  Ye sab karne ke liye Nakul hai, ya koi aur hai, magar tum hargiz oopar nahin chadhogi.  Warna mujhse bura koi nahin hoga” “GEET, enough.  You will absolutely not climb up there again.  Nakul is there for all of this, or anyone else, but you will absolutely NOT climb up there.  I absolutely won’t allow it”
As she rested in his arms, her eyes sparked with anger as she said “Aap jo ji chahe kehlein, main wohi karoongi jo main chahti hoon.  Agar main iss se bhi zyada oopar chadhna chahoongi, to main chadhoongi.  Aap mujhse aise kyun baat karrahe hain”  “You can say what you want, but I’m going to do exactly what I want.  If I want to climb even higher than this, I will.  Why are you talking to me this way?”
The terror finally seeped through and he drew her close and buried his face in her neck, breathing in her scent.  “Geet agar tumhein kuch hojata to, koi chot lagjati to main kaise bardasht karta.  Tumhein apna khayal rakhna hai, meri zindagi tum mein basi hai”  “Geet, what if something had happened to you, what if you had injured yourself.  You’ve got to look after yourself, I can’t live without you”
The fear in his voice brought understanding, and she wrapped her arms around his buried head, holding him close.
“Main aap ko kabhi nahin chodoongi, I love you, I’ll never leave you”; she repeated the same thing over and over again, shocked that such a small incident had triggered such a strong response in him.
Before he could say another word, Dadi walked into the room, rushing forward when she saw the way they were standing.
“Kya hua bete, Geet ko aap aise kyun pakde hue hain?”  “What happened, son, why are you holding Geet like that?”
He put Geet down gently, holding her next to him as he told Dadi what had happened.  Dadi’s loving scolding was much more effective than his over-reaction in convincing Geet that it wasn’t a good idea for her to climb ladders alone, and by the end of the conversation Geet had promised not to go up a ladder without someone else to hold the ladder for her.

CHAPTER 26
Eventually all the work was done; on Thursday night Geet finally fell into an exhausted sleep, it was in the knowledge that she had made the house as welcoming a place it could be for Priya to come to as a bride.
She thought that the day before the wedding would pass quietly, giving her a chance to rest and recover, but when she woke on Friday morning she found a note from her husband telling her that Dadi was waiting for her downstairs.
After a long hot shower, she made her way downstairs to find not only Savitri but also her husband waiting for her.
“Bete Geet, naashta jaldi se karlijiye, phir aap ko jaake shaadi ke liye kapde lena hain” “Geet, darling, have your breakfast quickly, then you have to go shopping for some clothes for the wedding”
“Kapde, Dadi?  Magar kyun, mere paas itne to kapde hain, main un me se koi pehnloongi”  “Clothes, Dadi?  But why, I have so many clothes, I’ll just pick something out of those”
“Nahin Bete, hargiz nahin.  Waise to aap ko apni shaadi ke kapde pehn ne chahiye, magar itne se logon mein lehenga sahi nahin lagega.  Magar main ne inn se kehdiya hai, aap ke liye koi accha sa laal joda lena hai, jo thoda dulhanon waala ho.  Aakhir aap ki shaadi ko bhi kitne se dinn hue hain.  Priya ke liye to maine kapde banwaliye hain, main bahut dinn pehle socha tha ke main apni shaadi ka joda usse doongi, aur usski bhi khushi yahi thi ke wo ussi ko pehne.  Magar aap ke liye aaj jaake aap kuch lelein, buss”
“No darling, absolutely not.  Really, you should be wearing your own wedding outfit, but with so few people present, the lehenga would be a bit out of place.  But I’ve told him, he’s got to buy you something that looks bridal, something red perhaps.  After all, it’s hardly any time since you got married.  I’ve already sorted out Priya’s outfit, I’d decided a long time ago that she should have my wedding outfit and she’s happy to be wearing something that has such good memories attached to it.  But you must go and buy yourself something today, and that’s final”
Geet opened her mouth to protest, but stopped when she saw the look on Dadi’s face.  When Dadi looked like that, there was no point in arguing, so she gave in gracefully and went to get ready.
The experience of shopping with her husband was something that evoked such sweet memories that she almost wept as she walked into the designer’s studio.  He had brought her to the same place they had come before their wedding, though she knew he didn’t remember that visit.  When she hesitated before entering, he looked down at her questioningly.

“Kya hua Geet?” “What’s wrong Geet?”
“Nothing, I was just wondering how you had heard of this place?”
“I saw some bags with this label in your wardrobe, so I thought that you must shop here- was I wrong?”
“No, not at all; I’ve been here a few times.  I was just wondering how you knew”
As they walked in together, she smiled at the memories; her smile widened as she realised that her husband loved her at least as much now as he had then, if not more; after all, only love could make a man like him take any notice of the labels in her wardrobe and remember them.  He had obviously wanted to bring her somewhere she liked and the little sign of caring was as dear to her as it could be.
He made her try on several outfits until she found one she was happy with; what she didn’t tell him was that it was the look in his eyes when he saw her that made her make her final selection.  After they had arranged for the outfit to be adjusted and sent to the Mansion by the evening, she sat in the car, expecting the driver to turn towards home, but after a few moments, it became clear that her husband had another destination in mind.
“Aap mujhe kahan leke jaarahe hain?” she asked mischievously.  “Kya mujhe darrna chahiye?”
“Where are you taking me?” She asked mischievously “Should I be afraid?”
He grinned at her briefly before saying “Itne acche jode ke saath ke liye kuch acche gehne bhi hone chahiye na?”  “I can’t help but think that such a lovely outfit deserves appropriately splendid accessories”
When she parted her lips to ask where exactly they were going, he stopped her by the simple action leaning over to kiss her gently; she blushed hotly and gestured at the driver, and by the time she had regained her composure, they had arrived at extremely exclusive jewellery shop that was their destination.

There were so many beautiful things that she was dazzled, with a wide range of designs and styles all available within moments of their arrival.  After a little while, she noticed that the manager was putting even the smallest thing she exclaimed over to one side; realisation dawned that her husband was buying any and everything she liked, rendering her speechless with mortification.  Drawing him to one side, she tried to remonstrate with him, then stopped when he said “Geet, agar zyada kaha to main ussi tarha chup karoonga jaise gadi mein kiya tha” “Geet, if you keep telling me off, then I’ll have to get you to stop the same way I did in the car”
The blush rose in her cheeks again as she imagined being kissed in front of all the people in the shop; the way he kissed her, they would probably be arrested for public indecency.   Still, she refused to even look at anything more necklaces or earrings, even when the manager tried to show her some beautiful pieces.
About the only things left to buy were some chudiyaan and kadhe; she found some lovely delicate chudiyaan, but as she was about to start looking at kadhe, he stopped her and said “Geet, yeh mat dekho, yeh mere oopar chod do“Geet, don’t worry, you don’t need to bother with those”
Looking at his face, she told the manager “Bass thank you, mere khayal se yeh sab kaafi hai” “Thank you, that’s all, I think that’s more than enough” then tried not to look at the high pile of jewellery boxes that were being readied for delivery to their house.  The drive home was quiet, almost contemplative.   In all the rush to get everything ready for Priya’s arrival, they had hardly had a moment to think about what her presence would mean.  Their life together had hardly begun to have some form and now their family was going to change, their home was going to have two more people living in it, bringing with them all the associated complications and twists.  It was a change for the good, but as with all change, there was always a little apprehension, and even the feted Maan Singh Khurana could admit to himself that he wasn’t one hundred percent ready for the changes to come.
And yet, as they entered the driveway leading to the mansion and saw it’s white walls standing tall in front of them, lights glittering in welcome, a sense of rightness permeated the space between them.  Geet turned and looked at her husband, putting out her hand to take his.
“I’m happy”

They were only two words and yet they conveyed so much; a sense of contentment, joy and belonging.  She was exactly where she wanted to be, with the person she was meant to be with.  Whatever the morrow brought, she knew they could face it together.
His only response, indeed the only response that was needed, was to lift their joined hands to his lips and place a heartfelt kiss on the back of her hand.  It felt like he was reaffirming his vow to always keep her happy with that kiss.
They entered the house hand in hand; it felt like a promise to always stay that way.

THE WORTHY ADVERSARY!

Currently, we are witnessing an Obsessive love track in Geet Hui Sabse Parayi. The track is intriguing and has gripped viewers for various reasons, but let’s look beyond the obvious. What made Maan Singh Khurana the ‘Dream Man’ of millions in the real world is his selfless love and undivided attention for his Beloved. Geet has been Maan’s reason for existence. She is the Be all and End all of his life. A smile on his Geet’s face is worth a million dollars while her gloomy face brings his world to a standstill. Maan Singh Khurana is a combination of three P’s …Passionate, Possessive and Protective.
Love is God’s BOON to mankind. However, Love at its extreme intensity is termed as Obsession, which is a CURSE. There is a fundamental difference between Love and Obsession. While Love is centered on the happiness of your beloved, Obsession is self-centered. An obsessed individual not only portrays passion, but also is cruel and vicious. He/she can go to any extent to get his or her object of desire and incase of denial can destroy oneself or destroy the object of obsession. While Love is also the other name for Sacrifice, Obsession is all about Possessing.
Whether it was Brij or Nayantara, Maan has always stood like a ROCK between Geet and her troubles and has ensured her well-being at all times. We always admired the diligent Maan who would sense trouble much before it surfaced and take action without any delay. With his wit and intelligence, he would mar every evil intention of his enemies that gave viewers the assurance that in Maan’s presence even Geet’s shadow is secure.
However after a long time we have seen a twist in the tale. For the first time, we have a worthy adversary in the name of Vikram who has not only dared to love Geet, but has also openly challenged ‘The Maan Singh Khurana.’ We now have a Man who is equally passionate, intelligent, and aggressive like Maan and can go to any extent to possess Geet. The high profile security arrangement proved futile because Vikram not only entered the Khurana Mansion and created havoc in Maaneet’s paradise but he tricked Maan Singh Khurana in disguise. The defiant Vikram made Maan realize that he is a force to reckon with and even the walls of Khurana Mansion can no longer protect Geet. Maan is unable to ease a panick stricken Geet, which is making him all the more restless and helpless.
Also after witnessing the divine love story of Maaneet, this track will bring forth the darker side of Love, which is traumatic and undesirable.
Nevertheless, we also know that challenges like these bring forth the possessive and ferocious side of our Sher Singh Khurana. He will rip apart anyone who poses a threat to his Geet and hence the Face off between Maan and Vikram would definitely be a visual treat for all Maaneet Fans.
A BIG round of applause to the entire Cast and Crew of Geet Hui Sabse Parayi for portraying clichés but with a difference.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham!

More than often, we experience some heart touching moments in our favourite shows, which either leaves us teary eyed or brings a smile to our face. Yesterday we experienced such moments with two of the most popular JODIS on Television. While in Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Maaneet brought back the lost smile on the faces of their fans, Arnav and Khushi in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon brought tears in the eyes of their viewers.

“Tum phikar mat karo Geet mein aa gaya hoon”…As Maan uttered these words to Geet, the viewers rejoiced and breathed a sigh of relief to see Maaneet together in one frame after an entire week.
In time of deep despair and complete loneliness, the one person you yearn for, if he or she appears before you, the moment will surely leave you shell shocked and speechless. That is exactly what happened to Geet when she saw Maan standing right in front of her. She looked at him in disbelief as they met under unexpected circumstances. However, the moment Geet recovered from her state of shock, she hugged Maan tightly to not let go of him while tears trickled down her eyes. She was overwhelmed to see that her Babaji had sent Maan just when she needed him the most. Geet’s fears peaked after realising she was being followed and cornered in Maan’s absence. She tried to bravely face her Stalker, only to realise it was no child’s play. Totally flustered and out of her senses due to shock, Geet found solace and felt secure in her Maan’s arms. She was finally HOME!

“My mind tells me to give up but my heart won’t let me” ~ Anon. Yesterday, one could see the pain and anguish that Arnav was going through as he watched Khushi slowly WALK OUT of the Raizada House and from his LIFE too. For the very first time, the fear of losing the sight of Khushi forever was so evident on his face. He had already started to miss Khushi but did not want any one to sense his restlessness and anxiety. While he was trying to battle the entire world portraying anger and frustration, he miserably failed in front of one – HIMSELF! Even though he hated himself for getting affected by Khushi, Arnav could never stop his heart from being drawn towards her. Despite yelling at Khushi, deep down his heart, Arnav wanted to hold her back and never let go. He was almost on the brink and would have surely melted only if Khushi at that very moment had embraced him, affirming that her heart equally beats for him. We hope that the tug of war between the heart and mind soon ends and both Arnav and Khushi realize and admit their LOVE for each other.

Sing a song:The untold story !

Arnav Singh Raizada does not want to believe that Khushi has slowly but steadily made her way into his heart like no one before. In his state of denial, Arnav has left pyaari Khushi confused. She is still unable to fathom what prompted Arnav to decide marriage with Lavanya. His sudden decision to bond with La for life left Khushi speechless while tears rolled down her eyes. She was immensely hurt. She wanted an answer from Arnav to ease her restless soul, but he left her with more heartache. Finally, Shyaam’s evil intentions succeeded with Khushi agreeing to marry him. Last, time Arnav’s heart freezed on hearing about Khushi’s marriage, will that be the case this time too? Here’s a song from the movie I Hate Love Storys which beautifully describes the emotional turmoil of Khushi and Arnav.
Hai kya yeh jo tere mere darmiyaan hai
Andekhi ansuni koi dastaan hai
Lagne lagi, ab zindagi khaali
Hai meri, lagne lagi har saans bhi khaali
Bin tere, bin tere, bin tere
Koi khalish hai hawayon mein bin tere
Bin tere, bin tere, bin tere
Koi khalish hai hawayon mein bin tere

Geet Hui Sabse Parayi (Star One): Lucky, Preeto, Dev and Nandini continues their Tu Tu Mein Mein. They have turned Maaneet’s “Love- Nest” upside down with their Mad-ness! Amidst all this drama, Geet suddenly finds her being followed by an unknown Stalker who terrifies her by sending gift, letter and eventually reaches her bedroom and writes on her mirror. The pre-cap showed Geet following the stalker and entering his house where she sees her photograph on the wall and gets startled (the mesmerizing Kurbaa Hua picture **sigh**). I so want to tell the Stalker “tuney SHER ke mooh mein haath dala hai.” No one messes with MAAN ki GEET. As soon as our Sher Singh Khurana returns, he will beat him Black and Blue. Geet do not fear when your MAAN is near. We felt this song from the movie Betaabi aptly describes the Stalker’s Obsession.
Tum mere ho
Bas mere hi mere ho
Tum mere ho
Bas mere hi mere hi ho

Pooch lo hawaon se

Surmaye ghataon se
Barisho ke pani se
Poocho nadiya deewani se
Tum mere ho
Bas mere hi mere ho
Tum mere ho
Bas mere hi mere ho

Balika Vadhu (Colors): The sudden disappearance of Anandi and Shravan at the same time has raised many eyebrows in the village. The villagers who always thought so highly about Anandi have now started questioning her character. Even though her in-laws always supported Anandi and showed immense faith and confidence in their “daughter” but somehow they too are unable to explain to themselves as well as the others as to why Anandi was no where to be found. But when the whole world raised their finger at Anandi and questioned her integrity, Jagiya came forward to stand by her. He had full faith and confidence in Anandi and assured his family that he would find her and get to the truth of this incident. Will this incident once again bring Jagiya close to Anandi? Let’s wait and watch. Meanwhile we thought these beautiful lines from Late Jagjit Singh’s album Marasim were apt to describe Jagiya and Anandi’s current status quo.

haath chhute bhi to, rishtey nahi chhoda karte

waqt ki shaakh se, lamhe nahin toda karte
haath chhute bhi to, rishtey nahi chhoda karte

Kuch Toh Log Kahenge (Sony): Dr. Nidhi has finally seen the real Dr. Ashutosh and realized that he is not ‘khadoos.’ For the first time Ashutosh opened his wounds before Nidhi and told her how his Baba abandoned him one fine day. Will Nidhi get to know the real identity of Ashutosh’s Baba? While Nidhi is slowly falling for Dr. Ashutosh who is 18 years older than her, will Mallika be able to make her place in his heart? The precap showed Nidhi deciding to join back the hospital. Does she really need to beware of Dr. Mallika as suggested by Anji? It would be interesting to see how Dr. Ashutosh deals with both these women and balance them in his life. These lyrics from the movie Prem Geet are just perfect to describe this unique couple.

Na umar ki simaa ho
Na janam kaa Ho bandhan
Jab pyaar kare koi
Toh dekhe keval man
Nai reet chalaakar tum
Yeh reet amar kar do

Navya (Star Plus): Friends are people we choose to include in our lives and hence they are very special. The friendship that Anant and Navya share with Appy, Ritz and Ranveer is extremely heartwarming. They have stood by each other through think and thin. Friday’s episode left us all with a heavy heart as they all Bid Adieu to their college life. They made us nostalgic and reminded us of our last day in college. Life from here on will never be the same again for any of them but we hope their Friendship continues to grow thicker and stronger in the days to come. This song of friendship sung by KK is dedicated to this bunch of friends!!

Teri har ek buraai pe daante woh dost
Gam ki ho dhoop toh saaya bane tera woh dost
Naache bhi woh teri khushi main

Arey Yaaron dosti badi hi haseen hai
Yeh na ho to kya phir
Bolo yeh zindagi hai
Koi to ho raazdaar
Begaraj tera ho yaar
Koi to ho raazdaar

We at Rangmunch.TV hope that you like and relate to these situational songs that we felt were very apt and described the emotions involved in the ongoing track.
